Hi, I'm Isabel Rose.

I’m a landscape painter, writer, and outdoors enthusiast based in the Pacific Northwest. Born and raised in Washington State, I've always been inspired by wild places, nature's colors, and the humble grandeur of the great American West.

I paint the places that have stayed with me long after I've left, and I’m drawn to the feelings and memories connected to these places as much as the landscapes themselves. Through saturated color, expressive light, and imagination, my work explores the relationship between the natural world, memory, emotion, and the human experience.

While I received my bachelor’s degree in English, I took art classes throughout my childhood and college. Painting has always been a way for me to reconnect, unwind, process, and explore. After nearly ten years of building a career in marketing, I found myself craving more time to make art.

I created Isabel Rose Art as a passion project to reignite my inner artist. I hope that my work helps you feel the wonder, beauty, and peace I find in the outdoors.

When I’m not painting, I like to get outside and explore with my husband and dogs: hiking, camping, traveling, and riding adventure motorcycles. My husband and I continue to find ourselves in one project after another, from home projects to a van build, woodworking, or metal art. There’s always another endeavor on the mind or in the works, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
